FACADE RESTORATION / LOCAL LAW 11
Exteriors are our Business...
Exterior building restoration is not just for aesthetics alone. The cause of facade problems can be due to poor design, improper installation, corrosion from moisture, excessive water penetration into the cavity between the facade and the backup, freeze/thaw damage, and poor exterior wall maintenance. The loss of support or weakening of anchoring systems can result in falling debris, a hazard to property as well as pedestrians.
The NY and NJ Department of Buildings continue to adjust, revise and update requirements for maintaining building facades. Working closely with engineers and architects, we perform a variety of repair types in conjunction with the Facade Inspection and Safety Program. These include:
* Rigging and scaffolding installations
* Sidewalk bridge installations
* Examinations, probes, material-testing and water-testing
* Masonry Restoration (brick replacement, joint restoration, pinning and stucco)
* Stone Restoration (custom fabrication and patching)
* Roofing / Coatings (single/multi-ply, fluid applied, tapered insulation and pavers)
* Concrete Restoration (patching, pinning, deck in-fill, eye-brow repair & GFRC)
* Stripping and coatings (all surfaces)
* Curtain Wall (cleaning, sealant repair and waterproofing)
* Metal Cladding (bulkheads and parapet walls)
* High pressure cleaning
* Fiberglass (decorative elements and cornices)
* Lintel and relieving angle replacement (steel, masonry and stone)
* Waterproofing (joint sealant, silicone seal and expansion joints)
* Asbestos Contaminated Material / ACM (testing and removal)
* Emergency Response: 24 Hours/7 Days
